Can I use eSiMAZE with a jailbroken or rooted device?

Quick answer

We do not support jailbroken or rooted devices. eSIM installation depends on parts of the operating system that these modifications commonly alter, so profiles frequently fail to download or fail to register on a network afterwards.

Why it goes wrong

• eSIM profiles are installed through a secure component that expects unmodified system software.
• Custom ROMs and modified builds often omit or break the eSIM management service entirely.
• Some modifications interfere with the certificate checks used during download, which appears to you as a generic failure.

Important

An eSIM code can normally be used only once. If installation fails on a modified device, the code may already be consumed and cannot simply be reissued. We cannot guarantee a replacement in that situation, so please install on an unmodified device.

What to do instead

Install the eSIM on a standard, carrier-unlocked device that supports eSIM. Check yours at /help/device-compatibility.
