How do I change my APN settings?
Last updated: 2026-09-03
Quick answer
Only change the APN if your package supplies an APN value. Many packages configure themselves automatically and need no APN entry at all. When one is supplied, enter exactly the value shown with your own eSIM - there is no universal eSiMAZE APN.
Where the setting is
- iPhone and iPad: Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data) > select the eSIM line > Cellular Data Network. If that menu is not shown, your package does not require manual APN entry.
- Samsung Galaxy: Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Access Point Names, with the eSIM line selected.
- Google Pixel: Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > select the eSIM > Access Point Names.
Steps
- Check your installation details for an APN value. If none is listed, stop here and leave the settings alone.
- Open the APN screen for the eSIM line using the paths above.
- Enter the APN name exactly as supplied, including case.
- Leave username, password, and other fields blank unless your package lists values for them.
- Save, then select the new APN profile if your device asks which to use.
- Toggle Airplane Mode for around 30 seconds so the line reattaches.
Important
Make sure you are editing the eSIM line and not your home SIM. Changing your primary line's APN can break your normal service. If you are unsure, note the original values before editing so you can restore them.
