How do I install an eSiMAZE eSIM manually on my iOS device?

Quick answer

Use manual entry when you cannot scan the QR code. Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data) > Add eSIM, choose to enter details manually, and type the SM-DP+ address and activation code shown with your order.

Steps

1. Open your installation details and find the SM-DP+ address and the activation code.
2. On the phone, connect to Wi-Fi and go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data) > Add eSIM.
3. Tap Enter Details Manually at the bottom of the screen.
4. Type the SM-DP+ address into the address field and the activation code into the activation code field.
5. Leave the confirmation code blank unless your order supplies one.
6. Confirm, label the line, and select it for mobile data.

What to check

• Copy the values exactly. They are case-sensitive and easy to mistype.
• Do not add spaces at the start or end, which is easy to do when pasting.
• Do not type the SM-DP+ address into the activation code field. The two are separate values.

Important

Manual entry installs the same single-use eSIM as the QR code. Use one method or the other, not both. If both fail with an invalid-code message, the eSIM may already be installed - contact us before buying a replacement.
