Can I transfer my eSIM to a new device?

Quick answer

No. Our travel eSIMs cannot be moved between devices. The profile is bound to the device it was installed on, and the installation code cannot be reused to install it somewhere else.

If you are changing phone

• Install the eSIM on the phone you will actually travel with, not on an old handset.
• If you change device mid-trip, buy a new package for the new phone at /esim-store.
• Remaining data on the old eSIM stays with the old device and is not transferred or refunded.

About device-to-device transfer tools

Phone manufacturers offer eSIM transfer features for carrier plans that support them. Travel eSIM profiles like ours are generally not eligible, so do not rely on a migration tool to carry the package across during setup of a new phone.

Important

If you are collecting a new phone soon, delay installing the eSIM until you have the device you intend to use. Once installed, the choice is fixed.
