Can I use tethering (Personal Hotspot)?

Quick answer

Usually yes. Most travel packages allow you to share the connection through your phone's hotspot, but it is not guaranteed on every package - check your package details, because some partner networks restrict it.

How to turn it on

• iPhone and iPad: Settings > Personal Hotspot, then allow others to join.
• Samsung Galaxy: Settings > Connections > Mobile Hotspot and Tethering.
• Google Pixel: Settings > Network & internet > Hotspot & tethering.

Make sure the eSiMAZE line is the one providing mobile data before you start.

What to watch

• Connected laptops and tablets consume data far faster than a phone, largely through background sync and updates.
• Set your allowance expectations accordingly, and check remaining data at /app/esims.
• Turn the hotspot off when you are not using it, or devices will keep syncing in the background.

Important

If the hotspot turns on but connected devices get no internet, confirm the eSIM itself has working data first by browsing on the phone. If the phone has no data either, see why is my eSIM not working.
