How do I change my eSIM label?

Quick answer

The label is a name your device stores for the line, so you change it in your phone's settings rather than on our website. Give it something obvious like Travel Data so you can tell it apart at a glance.

How to rename it

• iPhone and iPad: Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data) > select the line > Cellular Plan Label, then pick a preset or enter a custom name.
• Samsung Galaxy: Settings > Connections > SIM manager > select the eSIM > edit the name.
• Google Pixel: Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > select the eSIM > SIM name.

Why it is worth doing

Once two lines are active, several settings ask which one you mean - the data line, the default voice line, roaming. A clear label makes those choices much harder to get wrong.

Important

The label is cosmetic and local to the device. Changing it does not affect your package, your allowance, or how the line connects, and it is not visible to us.
