Troubleshooting
What should I do if the eSIM is stuck activating on my iOS device?

Quick answer
An eSIM stuck on Activating means the profile is installed but the line has not yet registered on a network. This is normal for a short time. It becomes a problem when it persists while you are inside the package's coverage area.
What to check first
- Are you actually in a country your package covers? A travel eSIM will not register at home if it activates only at the destination.
- Is the eSIM line switched on in Settings > Cellular?
- Is Airplane Mode off?
- Does the line have the data roaming setting your package specifies?
What to try
- Wait a few minutes. First registration on a foreign network can be slow.
- Toggle Airplane Mode on for around 30 seconds, then off.
- Restart the iPhone.
- Move outdoors for a stronger signal.
- Turn off Automatic network selection for the eSIM line and pick a supported network manually from your package's list.
Important
Do not delete the eSIM to "try again". A deleted profile normally cannot be reinstalled and the package would be lost. If it is still stuck after the steps above, contact us with your destination, device model, and how long it has been activating.
