What devices support eSIM?

Quick answer

Most flagship phones released in the last several years support eSIM, including recent iPhone, iPad, Samsung Galaxy, and Google Pixel models. Support depends on your exact model and the region it was sold in, so check the model rather than the series.

Check your own device

• Search your exact model on /help/device-compatibility.
• Match the full model name and, where relevant, the model number printed in your device settings. Regional variants of the same phone can differ.
• Confirm the device is carrier unlocked. An eSIM-capable phone still cannot use our packages if your operator has locked it - see what can I do if my device is network or carrier-locked.

Two things that are easy to miss

• Some models sold in mainland China, and some early dual-SIM variants, ship without eSIM hardware.
• A few devices support eSIM only for a carrier-provided plan and not for third-party profiles. The manufacturer's regional support page is the authority here.
